I use the Spectracide stuff religiously and absolutely love it. Buutttt, the wasps have made thier way inside the soffutt of my roof and the spray only gets in so far. So, I was wondering, besides using a professionsl, (which I assume will not be cheap) how can I kill the damn things without them getting me.

We had them around like crazy and just sprayed the nest with wasp spray. I'm actually having more of problem with scorpions. My daughter got stung by one last night. Thank goodness she isn't allergic but I'm sure it still hurt like crazy

My wife got stung by a scorpion on her hand earlier this year and she said it hurt like h e double hockey sticks.

She has a very high tolerance for pain so I hope your daughter feels better soon.

That is the BEST stuff ever. I was doing an open house in Houston about 5 years ago--a cute, but vacant townhome on a golf course. There was an enormous yellow jacket hive hanging from the patio. I sprayed that sucker--coated it completely. I had to do it in stages as I was inside, with my arm and the can through the open patio door (then slamming it shut in between sprays!). Within seconds they were dropping--it was horrifying how many there were. The traffic of yellow jackets flying in back to the hive was halted almost immediately--they would come in and hover for just a moment before taking off. I felt like Leonardo DiCaprio on the bow of the Titanic. Could you imagine walking out there unknowingly and those little ba*tards coming after you? *shudders* I hate 'em!
Hi, Mom2!

Boy, you're brave, spraying them when they're still active, LOL!!

It has residual action, too, so those who emerge from the nest later after you've sprayed will also die!
