So many things. For me, more skyscrapers. Even smaller cities like Raleigh, NC look more metropolitan than we do. I personally don't like flat cities. Also a better public transportation system. I'm sorry but I find VIA highly unreliable. And honestly, more beauty. This is just my opinion of course, but SA only has a few really nice parts of town (i.e. Stone Oak). The others areas are plain looking suburban types neighborhoods with no real character. We are the 7th largest city in the US, and I don't truly understand why we don't take more pride in our appearance.
