Couldn't you have just asked that in the other race related thread you started instead of starting a new one?

1) SA is 65-70% Hispanic
2) there is very minimal racisim here- everyone tends to get along so no one feels like they have to be segregated or whatever

The answer is very simple...

In a perfect little world. Go to the Tri-Cities as anything but white and see how you are received.

I'll be sure to tell my neighbours, who happen to be black, that according to you they're supposed to be feeling out of place and uncomfortable. Same thing with the people from Mexico who live down the street.
