I don't know why people in San Antonio get so sensitive when questions like this are asked.

Anyway San Antonio has a very low foreign born population and most of the people that say they speak Spanish really just speak Spanglish.

So the percentage of Spanish dominant people in San Antonio is pretty low anywhere in the city; it's a city dominated by tejano culture with very little Mexican or Latin American culture.

Really? You're so desperate for attention that you revived a 5+ year old thread?

Just putting my opinion, don't care for attention.

I just find it amusing that someone would be so presumptuous as to deride others for "not being xyz enough". In the first place, different regions of Mexico has different "norms", just as the US does - so to say some US city doesn't have people that are "Mexican enough" is just foolish, IMO. And maybe that's why they originally relocated - they didn't like it.

Default Depth of thought,

The fact that you choose to state that you "don't know why" is indicatory of something else. Perhaps on your part it is not a deliberate oversimplification but belies an incomplete understanding. Else "Understanding" is completely absent. In any case , Good Luck.

Well, I just noticed nobody was a giving straight answers, like people were being overly sensitive about it.
