Hey All,

Starting to feel a slip in the ol' transmission and in need of a GREAT (not just good) reccommendation for a highly-respected mechanic shop in my area. I just relocated here from California a few months ago and I had a nearly 20-year relationship with my mechanic there. I could trust him to always be straight with me, never push unneccessary repairs on me, and go to bat against the warranty companies in order to get the repairs done with as little out-of-pocket from me as possible. I'm looking for something similar here. I have a 2010 Chevrolet Impala that is out of the original warranty but I do have an extended service plan through a third-party company that supposedly covers all the same stuff.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Just looking for someone who's honest, reliable, and good at what they do.

Always had good treatment at Firestone on Culebra just east of the overpass, near Goodwill.
Ronaldo did everything to my truck and never had a problem.

Second MD Auto, a family-owned business with an excellent reputation amongst its customers. We've been using them for almost eight years for five different vehicles and we've always have been happy!

Third vote for MD Automotive. I just moved from Helotes to Del Webb, and I have used MD several times. Ron is great!
