Are there any laws or ordinances limiting the number of dogs someone can keep at their home? I'm talking about a residential neighborhood in Bexar County that is OUTSIDE the City of San Antonio.

You can call and ask the Bexar County Public Works dept: 210 335 6000

I had a neighbor with too many neglected dogs and my kid ended up getting sick from a tick bite. My neighborhood has a HOA which has its own animal limits, so they sent a letter to my neighbor that he was not in compliance, and he rehomed some of the animals. If you have a HOA, you might check on the animal restrictions it has.

Bexar County Animal Control Services - (210) 207-6650

"If you have a problem with a domestic animal, such as a cat or a dog, the county animal services can assist you, and this is a free service. If you have a complaint about a dangerous dog or cat, a nuisance barking dog, a stray cat, kittens, puppies, pet adoptions, negligent pet owners, San Antonio SPFL, or San Antonio Humane Society, give the county a call."

Cheers! M2
