Did anyone else notice that the Ruby Tuesday building will become a Jason's Deli? Looks like they are going to hold an auction in December and then start the renovations. That would be my guess. Better than demolishing a perfectly good building

It has been mentioned here already by Paka in the opening/closings thread I think.

Default Tree Permit

Even though the latest rumors have been that HEB had delayed the start of this HEB, this morning I saw that a tree permit had been granted for the HEB at Alamo Ranch and Alamo Ranch Pkwy. Hope it means that the latest rumors are wrong.

That looks promising. I don't think HEB would apply for a permit needed for building just for the heck of it. If they start construction within the next month or two it will be ready by Thanksgiving as it was rumored.

On another note, did anyone notice they cleared the lot next to the Casablanca? It's also owned by Santikos. My bet is it will be used for restaurants and retail like the area next to Silverado.

Sooo... on the HEB in Alamo Ranch. For the past 2 days now the "surveyors " have been at the Coming soon HEB sign in AR area almost all day for both days.

Guess we will have to call it SOME kind of progress.

Does anyone know what is being built behind the Cane Chicken place just before the turn in to the Target side of Alamo Ranch?? Doesn't look to be all that big a building by frame size.

My money says it's yet another drive thru heart attack in a sack. We don't have enough of those in the AR area

Maybe another Frontier Burgers? I could be mistaken, but I thought I read somewhere that they will build on Culebra rd.
