-A new sports park-type area next to Walmart (soccer fields, etc)
A couple of minor things - it's a DOD biolab, not NSA. From what I heard at the meeting the rec area was speculative at this point.

Thanks for posting the notes.

Anyone know how this growth will affect property values? I would expect them to rise...but wasn't sure if all of the business will drive them down in any way. Thanks for any insight!

Hopefully it doesn't end up like Stone Oak.. I'm hoping they do go up quite a bit though, because I plan to sell and get out of here.

You're right, sorry! NSA has taken over the Sony building, and is rumored to be bringing 4000+ more employees into the area...

goodmanm, you were at the meeting? Have we met?!?

I was picking up pizzas at Papa Murphy's today and noticed the Double Dave's there has put out one of those Little Tykes outdoor play systems. I really hope they put a fence or retaining wall of some kind around it...too close to the road in my opinion to be letting children play. Even with supervision, I see an accident waiting to happen.

I noticed the same thing when me and my fiance were out near there. I was remarking to her that i would not let our little one play there, with it so close to the side road leading to the parking area. A fence would really help them out.

A fence would at least keep the kids from falling/running in to the road. But if someone is coming around there too fast...ugh...I don't even want to think about it.

Rohde said he was trying to bring in a Mexican restaurant @ Madison Market.

There are going to be some restaurants put in the development around the Wal-Mart, I don't remember which though.
