So they put up another store to alleviate the sales pressure, and then make more money!
Plus they know if a competitor moved in, everyone in that area would go to them. i know I can't wait for ARM to be complete so I don't have to get on any major roads to get to the stores...

Thanks!

It is all related to landlord and developer. There is plenty of real estate for sale near 90 and 1604 towards Castroville. You will probably see another huge developement there in about 5-10 years if you have the right landlord and developer.

I thought that was a shopping center they're developing on 90 between Grossenbacher and 1604? They're clearing out a ton of trees (I HATE THAT!) over there last I looked and it appears to be a large shopping center piece of land..

I do wish that Super Target was going in at Potranco/1604. Culebra/1604 is close, but that intersection is pure hell now and I refuse to go there unless it's on a weekend or in the dead zone of traffic.

No kidding! I remember when it was a single traffic light, and it was nuts and everyone complained about the traffic - then they opened it up, and POW where the hell did all these people come from?!?

I hope it'll be a real Super Target, like the ones at Bandera Point and the Crossroads. I like their grocery sections and the food always looks better. More expensive, but at least it looks better. I don't really care for the one at 151/410. The awful parking lot design and it's general nastiness inside don't do anything for me.

Yeah, that Target now looks like the one that used to be at Westlakes.

I wanted the one and Potranco to be a Super Target too. I like that they carry alot of "healthier" food choices. Now I have to travel all the way up to Bandera. Blah. When are all of the businesses going to start getting built at 1604/Potranco? I really want that Spectrum to start so I don't have to go all the way up to Tezel!

Yes, I was sorry to see the Westlakes one go...

I want the 5 lb. box of Cuties Target has on sale through today, but seriously do not want to drive through the 1604 gauntlet to get up to Bandera Point. Debating on whether or not it's cheaper to just buy the $7.99 box at HEB+. Those things are so tasty and I think all the oranges and tangelos I've been eating lately have kept me from getting all the bugs going around, so far, knock wood...

My neighbor is a retired Target store manager...and he said that they are only putting in Super Targets in SA anymore...so if one is coming to this area, it should be a Super Target.

Anyone hear when Which Wich will open??? Can't wait...only tried it once but all 3 of us got something different and all LOVED it!
