I'd hope that. That'd be quite the silly reason to do so.

Yea, I am a Directv subscriber and have been for 10 years now. If you add up the cost per channel, you get a better deal through Directv then through Dish.

No...one game won't change my subscription.....still love my HD on Time Warner. Plus, since we have five TV's, subscribing to Dish or Direct TV does not make economical sense for us.

Exactly! Who wants the ugly dish on their roof as well.

I guess I don't care because I hate the Cowboys.

And we get poor reception here with any satellite - the dish is almost pointed horizontally! A rain storm in Mexico messes with our reception....

We've moved to TWC, and we're very happy. As far as the games go, I'll hit the public viewing areas....

I think televised sports are a complete bore, so the existence, or lack thereof, of a certain game of a certain random sport doesn't affect me in any way at all. So I'll stick with TWC.

And I like the fact that if the house loses power, I can still surf RR....

I switched to Dish for about 2 months. Between the signal dropping out in bad weather and the 2-3 second delay every time you switched channels, my family and I couldn't wait to get rid of the thing. The cost savings wasn't worth the additional nuisance factor.

Getting to the root of the question, I respect Time-Warner's stance against the NFL Network. I don't want to watch NFL games and I don't want my cable bill to go up by $1 month to subsidize other people watching NFL games. Put the channel on a sports tier where the people who want to watch it can pay for it.
