Hi there -
Does anyone have any suggestions on which schools/colleges have good Graphic Design & Web Development courses? The only schools I've found have been TechSkills and IADT - San Antonio. Any reviews from people who have gone to those?
There have to be more out there - I'm looking for something comparable to the Art Institute schools - no SA campus for them though.
Thanks!

San Antonio College actually has a good Graphic Design department. Most of the talented graphic designers in SA went to SAC.

Talking San Antonio Website Design

You are in a city that does not have a great selection of educational choices for website design, asides from SAC. They have a pretty decent program but I would say these words of advice.

1- You are better off learning on your own. Web design does not need a formal education.
2- San Antonio is a tuff place to sell websites, however finding a job as a good developer with an exsisting firm is easy. know your HTML/CSS, JS, and some AS3 and your in. PHP and MySQL and your gold.
3- Portfolio Portfolio Portfolio - Buy a hosting account and then start making websites. Skip dreamweaver. Learn how to code on your own.

Travel up north to Texas State to get a “real” perspective and education on communications design program. They are one of the top schools in Texas for that among University of North Texas (UNT), TCU, UT, and SMU.

You are not learning what the real industry demands until you get your butt kicked by the program. Texas State has produced a lot of the top talents in Texas who are now doing awesome work and working at prestigious design firms, ad agencies, and corporate inhouse department outside of San Antonio.

Just need real word experience. Sorry, degrees not needed for Web design. I never, and don't know of anyone ever, hiring a web designer with a degree.

Simply get a subscription to lynda.com and it'll be the best money ever spent.
