Hey everyone,

New to SA... I have a massive craving for some antipasto salad, with meat and cheese and vegetables... I can't find it at HEB or Super Wal Mart. Anyone know where I could purchase the already made salad?

Thanks for your help!

I think I recall seeing it at Capparelli's Pizza on Huebner. They have several locations around town. I also remember seeing it on the menu at Ruben's Bakery and Cafe.

Try Central Market or Whole Foods.

Oh, this is really easy to make yourself! Buy the following:

sliced mortadella
sliced provolone
pitted olives (any kind you prefer)
tomatoes, cut in wedges
a bag of lettuce
pepperoncini
a bottle of vinaigrette

Get a plate, put down alternating slices of mortadella and provolone all over it. Pile a bunch of lettuce on, and scatter the olives, tomatoes and pepperoncini on top. Dress it with the vinaigrette and enjoy! For an extra treat, buy some prosciutto, brown it until crispy, and crumble it on the top. HEAVENLY!!

Today I saw jars of antipasto salad at the Costco in Selma in one of the canned food aisles. I had never noticed those before at Costco and I immediately thought of this thread.
