The Talons are back for another season of Arena league action. the Talons are now the 2nd longest lasting pro football team in the history of this city(Toros are the longest lasting 1967-74, Charros/Bulls dont count).

I went to a game last year, hoping to like it. Even with free tickets, I felt like the game took too long and had too many breaks in the action. The efforts at drumming up fan support seemed more forced than the other teams in town.

I'm not ruling out going again, but I'm going to want to hear that it's a significantly better experience this year than last.

Compared to NFL, or something else?

Compared to other major local sports... NBA, hockey, UTSA football, even baseball. For someone has no loyalty to the team, which I imagine describes most of the folks in town, it just wasn't very well-packaged as an experience.

I was genuinely curious, as I find most football to have lots of breaks in the action.

0-3 this season. tomorrow night vs Pittsburgh at the dome 7:30p. i dont want to see sad faces or anyone to play the silent game, we all should be proud we have a pro football team here. it may not be NFL or CFL, but we need something to keep us from getting bored.

I think you're the only one on the train.
