Does anyone have a website that has current houses available for rent in San Antonio? I have looked on Zillow however those are usually already rented. I am out of state moving this summer and I am simply trying to get an idea of what works for us, neighbored wise, home size and styles there, prices to expect, schools, etc. I have even heard some realtors have their own websites. If you know of any please help.

You can also use SABOR - I was just looking up some rentals there yesterday. (www.sabor.com)

Best bet is to find a Realtor that specializes in them. They're going to have a more up to date search than Realtor.com.

We list our properties on Craigslist.

Look under "housing" and you can view by location on the map or a list view of available properties.

You can also contact a property management company -- though they will favor their own properties.

A realtor may be more likely to provide a broader range of listings. The SABOR idea is great, too.

I have found realtor.com to be wayyyy behind, with houses that are already rented. I don't put my rental into the MLS. I swear every time I do, BCAD raises my taxes a lot / more than normal. So no more pictures in the MLS for me. It's all done through my property management company.
