I'm sure you've all seen/heard about the Big Give if you watch network TV between 5am and 11pm. It is 24
hours of local giving for non-profits. Please consider taking a moment to make a small donation to your favorite non-profit after midnight tonight! The event runs from midnight to midnight and lots of organizations are participating. If you don't have a favorite non-profit I know several that could use your donations.

Yes it was! Having a dynamic leaderboard which updated totals every 30 seconds was really cool.

We met our goal, and it looks like some of my neighborhood's non-profits also did well. The best part was that most of us didn't just give to one group, and those of us with a primary interest in one of the groups also included mentions of others in our email/twitter blasts.
