LF....what are the plans for the multi-story buildings on the left of this rendering? Is there no retail space on the street level there?

Honestly (besides Starbucks, those shops are very tired and run down...and have no architectural merit...so losing them would improve the look of the area.) I do, hope, however that those businesses get some compensation for being dislocated because of this project. Rackspace will definitely be a boon for the economy in that area. It needs more upscale business....and hopefully very strong security.
the old KFC is being turned into a burger king - hiring signs just went up this week.

That's ironic since the starbucks was a burger king for years.

Wow.,. that developer must be from MARS!..., he needs to look at the context of the surrounding neighborhoods.., then he can build something that compliments the neighborhood..,

How about a PRISON instead..., short commute for most of it's inmates!

My Grandfather owned 6 acres in the lower-left yellow portion. He sold it to the Niemans in 1994. I saw that the Niemans sold it to the City of Windcrest in the last 18 months. I'm curious to see what Windcrest paid for it.

Is the Wendy's still in the parking lot of the ex-Windsor Park Mall, or is the Wendy's now a McDonalds?

Still a NEISD school. North East has decided to completely tear down their old schools and rebuild them from scratch. Mac was the first, and I believe they have done the same to Lee.
