This is just not true. Sorry.

First off, you're historically known to be a Alamo Heights booster, so you're obviously biased.

Second, the Landings is on the Southeast side not the "south side". I get that everyone north of downtown likes to just lump everything south of downtown together and call it "the south side".

Crime isn't higher on the south side or the south east side. There seems to be this mythical stigma of crime being higher when that's not true.

There are fewer amenities compared to the north side or northwest side, yes, but there are amenities and it's not like car travel doesn't exist.

As for the hospitals comment, well, there's a fairly new and very nice hospital at Brooks City-Base.
