It was pretty hot. I've got Longhorn Football season tickets so I've sat in 105 degree games but this was different. It was humid with no air circulation. The thing that annoyed me the most is that as hot it was, ATT Center should have discounted the price of the water bottles they sold at the concession stands as a goodwill gesture for their screw up.

I don't know if it's significant but my friend mentioned the graduation at a Freeman last night. I realize they are separate buildings but since entire neighborhoods lose power when we are extremely hot or cold (cold for SA that is), I have to wonder if 2 large events at the same complex played a part in the AC issue. I'd like to at least hear that addressed instead of just people accusing the Spurs of planning this on purpose.

The conditions were the same for everyone last night @ AT&T....

..well maybe a little bit more hotter for the "Heat" which might
explain what happened...

I'm going to a graduation at Freeman next week. I wondered during the game if Freeman was also without its AC last night.

I'd like to hear if they even had someone come out to attempt to fix it. This happened early in the game. I'm just an average Joe, and I can pay a little extra to get emergency service within the hour to come to my house to fix the AC. Did the Center even call someone? Surprised the media has not even asked that question.

I imagine some of the parts for an AC system that cools a building of that size is not readily available so maybe that is what prevented the system from being fixed quickly. Money doesn't solve all problems.

Beyer Boys - YouTube

I was hoping to find one of their "bend over backwards" commercials from a few years ago, but this'll have to do.

I'm sure the county is putting a solicitation out for repairs with bids due in 30 days.

I imagine the facility has its own AC workers on staff, but not all repairs are simple -- especially if the place is filled with spectators and electrical supplies have to be cut before the equipment can be worked on.
