I have a craving for chocolate covered potato chips. I am not skilled enough to make them on my own but cant seem to find any in local stores. I dont want to wait for a delivery by mail. Does anybody know of a store in the area that sells them? Thank you

Have you tried Trader Joe's? They have had them before.

They are harder to get in the summer for obvious reasons but last winter you could find chocolate covered wavy Lay's at Target. Best I ever had were from Widman's candy shop in Grand Forks ND. Never really seen them here locally.

I remember seeing some at World Market. Rustybolt makes a great point that availability is likely limited in the summer. Those delivery trucks get hot!

Although I see them on the trader joes website, I never see them in the store here. Maybe she is talking about the Dallas store.

It's just as hot here, though. I doubt you'll find any in July in Texas. You might have better luck making them yourself. Shouldn't be too hard really, if you just can't wait.
