Yeah - I saw it today and figured it out, and oops - got those streets wrong

I will have to give Aldaco's a try!

Default Tortilla Soup & Quesadillas

I like the Tortilla Soup at Salt Grass Steakhouse better than any other!

Also, Navarro Mexican Grill & Bar (8055 West Ave, near Castle Hills) has wonderful quesadillas...I try them at all different restaurants & these are my favorite. They serve an unusual salad on the plate...lots of food. My family likes this place a lot, even celebrating birthdays here.

Default Much Improved

Dined there twice last week, once with business associate (his first visit), and my wife on Saturday, also her first visit. Food was excellent both times. Service was superb at lunch, but somewhat off for dinner. Waiter was being forced to cover too many tables, switched our orders and took far too long to get check. However, it was the food we came for, and it was great. Best we've had in San Antonio in a long time. Wife & I are native Texans, and we know our Mexican food.

I don't know how they used to be but they are GREAT now! I have never had a bad meal there. My favorite is the spinach enchilladas and they have a green cream salsa that is AWESOME!

The fist time that we ate there the food was great and the staff was courteos and attentive. We've eaten there 5 or 6 times now and it's been great each time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Sorry. Let me correct that:

The first time that we ate there the food was great and the staff was courteous and attentive. We've eaten there 5 or 6 times now and it's been great each time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Amorcito's is one of the few restaurants on the dining for miles programs (Delta, American, United) that I actually eat at. If you sign up for these programs, you just hook up one of your credit cards to it, use it at the restaurant, and get miles. I noticed that the three airlines I mentioned, they have the identical program. You just have to hook up different credit cards for each airline program. The programs are free if you are interested. Also, it shows as activity on your account, so you don't loose miles as easily. HTH
