They're all political whores in that bunch. I would have preferred one that voted FOR the Equality ordinance, which Ivy Taylor did not.

The people in District 2 don't deserve the same type of zealous representation as the people in Stone Oak? Would her attitude be more acceptable if she represented wealthier people? I don't understand. I've never met her and maybe she does the bad attitude people claim she has, but this sounds like a "how dare she be uppity" conversation. She is a graduate of Yale. That doesn't excuse a lack of humility, but how many people in Stone Oak graduated from an Ivy League university? If she takes as much pride in representing District 2 as she would in representing District 9, I'd say that's a good thing. A person who wouldn't treat these areas equally would be the one who is stuck up.

Not to sound rude? Well, it's rude and ignorant. She lives in a house in District 2 that's tax-appraised at $228,550 and Zillow-appraised at $277,565. Her and her husband have 5 rental properties and her husband has 11 other rental properties listed in his name alone. Sounds like all the workings of an arrogant Stone-Oaker to me.

It will be interesting to see how Ivy Taylor and Sculley get along.

Zillow values are BS.

So now that she is the interim mayor, who will represent District 2?

I'm assuming City Council will appoint someone. Just like they did in January for District 10, and just like they are going to do in District 7 while Cris Medina is away for 2.5 months.

Think about it for a minute... three of the ten districts will have APPOINTED councilmembers.

I'm not disparaging the character of any of the appointees... it just seems to be a lot.

Well I can't agree that all Zillow values are BS which is essentially what you are saying. Zillow is one of many tools that can be used before an appraisal can be obtained. I'm not going to pay for an appraisal on her house. Anyway, this is besides my main point.

I'm sorry, why is Stone Oak at fault here?
