Food Stored in Restaurant Bathroom? - KABB - San Antonio Top Stories - News, Sports, Weather, Traffic

Horrible decision by management, HUGE potential safety risk to customers. Storing food in a restroom should be grounds for closing a place down for a few days. Unfortunate for the poor kitchen employee who gets fired and takes the L on this one, poor guy loses his low wage job for following directions put forth by his employer. Had he refused to store the food there, he'd probably be fired as well.

This place is incredibly small, there is no way a head chef/manager didn't know about this.

Reminder that "all that glitters isn't gold". It might just be fecal residue.

I tried reading the link but Fox 29 has one of the worse websites ever. I was unable to get it display properly. I can't imagine why a business would do this unless they have severe space constraints.

Not shocking, especially considering that Weissman is known for his sketchy health practices in his other eateries.

Case-in-point, Il Sogno was house curing raw meats in a dusty attic space when they first moved in. They got their hand slapped by the health authority and were very lucky it didn't end up as a story in the EN.

I have been to the Luxury once and enjoyed it. After reading this however, I won't be going back.

I go to the Luxury to play with the toys they use as order numbers. But now I might think twice about that.

If they're storing food in the restroom, just think about where they could be storing the TOYS
