We have two flower beds (maybe 7' x 12' each) directly in front of our home that need help.

The Garden Center said they don't work on areas that small and we don't know any landscapers.

We would like someone to come up with a plan of what to plant, how many, how far apart etc, based on our requirements (short bushes as opposed to ones that grow to 12' feet, low water full sun plants).

My husband can do the work himself as they are not large areas, but we need help with the design.

Anyone have recommendations? Thanks!

What kind of light do the beds get? Face which direction(s)?

I know a lady who does garden/landscaping/yard work. She volunteers her time at our church and does a great job. PM me and I will send you her number.

What Garden Centers have you gone to?

I go to Fannick's often and they've been extremely helpful. They don't have landscapers to come out, but they've given me great advice when I've discussed our property. I lucked out once when the guy working was a landscape architecture student at SAC and came out to deliver some stuff and spent some time with me giving me free advice

I've also had some advice from Rainbow Gardens, but haven't found them as friendly as the staff at Fannick's.
