I kind of got a glimpse of responses from a previous related thread of mine:

//www.city-data.com/forum/san-a...-standard.html

but I was just wondering specifically to the new home subdivisions around SA, home many of the homeowners will be checking/cleaning their gutters, periodically. Or do folks just let them work until a problem occurs?

I know some are one story, but there's also quite a few that are 2 stories, where in these new subdivisions there are rarely any trees as tall as the house for the time being.

While I was around, I don't seem to recall ads/mailers for gutter cleaning (maybe I forgot) but I do recall ones for gutters with leaf guards.

Also, if one does hire someone to clean gutters (say 2 story home, 2500 sq ft), how much does it go for around SA?

I just had gutters installed, but there are no tall trees around my house, so I don't see leaves being a problem for at least a few years. I've only seen a couple other houses in my neighborhood with gutters.

Of course, it has yet to rain since I had the gutters put on. Maybe one day it will, and I can see how they work
