Anyone know what has happened to the Boeck's Eggs outlet on Thousand Oaks (near Wetmore)? For the last couple of weeks, the sign says "closed." I tried emailing Featherland Eggs but have had no response so far. I love their eggs and liked that they offered some fresh veggies and fruit from local farmers. And they are conveniently around the corner from me. Anyone privy to some info? Are they gone for good?

Anyone know where to get fresh eggs and cheese instead of this place that closed?

I am looking for a farm that does not send the animals to slaugther when they are "spent".

Call Miranda Hitchings @ Native Texan Farm. She has an egg group that she periodically delivers to in SA. Straight from the farm to you. (210) 846-0047

What do they do with the animals if they aren't sent to slaughter?

Not trying to start anything here, I really want to know.

That location is closed for good, but their main egg farms is located a few miles east of San Antonio. You can buy eggs there, but not produce. Their phone number is 830-914-4949 if you want to try. Their eggs are the best!

Why not get a couple of hens of your own? Unless of course, your HOA doesn't allow that
