I just moved here in June and can't help but notice how everything here seems stuck in the 90s. I'm not complaining at all, that was my favorite decade for sure. But, from flipping through the radio stations to driving past the nearest Cheddars or Olive Garden, everything here is giving me a 90s throwback vibe. Anybody else notice this?

Right, so apparently San Antonio is the only city in America with these 90s restaurant institutions of Olive Garden and Cheddars.

Every time I drive by McDonald's, I get a 60s vibe.

Btw, what radio stations are you listening to KISS? MAGIC? lol

It's all about the 90s kids these days. But seriously, the 90s were twenty years ago now. I got an 80s vibe in the 2000s and a 70s vibe in the 90s...it's just time for people to get nostalgic. Although, I do have to say I am questioning the return of high waist acid washed jeans which I saw a lot of yesterday while I was out.

KISS is stuck in the 90's. Unfortunately KISS is also stuck in the 80's and 70's. The other stuff I don't see, maybe you just live in an older part of town.

Kiss just sucks. Period. I wish they would flip to alternative. Every other city seems to have a new music alternative but us. Go figure.

Default I love the 90s! Sign me up.

I am thinking of moving to SA and this news makes me want to move there even more. I already have some high-waisted acid washed shorts to wear--sounds like I will fit right in.

KISS is stuck in the 90s because, I believe rock music [which is their format] has not been as innovative as other genres and thus, has not been as fun for the ear.

As for the rest of the city of SA being stuck in the 90s, we have nothing on Portland.

Sounds kinda right. San Antonio stuck in the 1990's is kinda nice to visit sometimes, especially as compared to living in Austin which is stuck in the 2020's...

I don't think we're stuck in the 90's at all.
