Which car TV commercials do you like/dislike the most? I like the new Manu/Gunn spots.

I think the tackiest one is the Suzuki dealer with the Judge and Mr. Bling.

Those two guys crack me up and it's the only car commercial I only sorta despise. The rest of them, especially all the freaking truck commercials, can feel free to go away forever. I have never in my life been influenced in the slightest bit by a car commercial. I think they are completely wasting a LOT of money.

My all-time favorite vehicle commercial is the one with the group of guys riding around in a Chevy truck, Shania Twain is singing, and a guy in the back seat is singing along, "Man, I feel like a woman!" I LOL'd at that one.

I probably wouldn't mind if they had more Lambo, Ferrari, Bentley etc. commercials. However, the chances of me buying the most commonly advertised vehicles here (ford stickinamodelnamehere) is actually a negative.. as in I wouldn't take it if you gave it to me..
I still say they probably influence where people WON'T shop more than where they will. I'd be more likely to visit a place that doesn't have annoying commercials that are on every commercial break.

The goofy thing about that Chop and Judge thing is, the huge guy puts on a Judge dress, grabs a gavel and says, "I'm the Judge - but I'm not here to judge you." WTF? Then take off that goofy outfit and tell us about the car.

What is the story on Area Selly or whatever her name is for Fiesta Dodge? Is she otherwise famous for something?

I suspect she stole her little finger twirl (Just outside Loop 410) from that portly funny guy who had the double jointed elbow years ago and could somehow twirl his forearm like he was swinging a lasso. That guy knew how to sell furniture or tires or anything he got a commercial for. Sheer genius.

So would local newscasts. I doubt our local stations would be able to afford to put on so much news if there weren't so many car dealers advertising in it.
