While I support having more jobs here in San Antonio, it seems like majority are call center jobs and I don't like that.

I get that they pay well even if you are the one on the phones all day, but having other job options would be nice too.

Either way, thanks for the good news.

Intel Corp.*has announced a significant investment with*Rackspace*in a new OpenStack Innovation Center that will be based at Rackspace's headquarters in San Antonio.

People need to keep in mind that large job announcements are usually going to be in professional service (call centers) or manufacturing. You are not going to have an accounting firm looking to fill 100 positions.

That said I wish they would post the average salary so we can see if it is a quality call center job or entry level crap.

I am not sure if 'quality' and 'call center job' belong in the same sentence as it is not something I would personally consider a career, at least not on the phones the entire time.

It is great for those that need a job though.

RyneTwo, tried to rep you soooo many times and need to spread the love, but THANK you for showing people there ARE jobs out there, they just need to get over themselves if they choose not to learn a skill or a license and TAKE one!!!!
