My bet is some of those nicer restaurants will fill in along Alamo Ranch Parkway eventually. Culebra is too packed with fast food already and I think that the new Santikos and future HEB will bring in more restaurants and retail along that corridor like at Silverado and Bandera Point.

Are they still planning on building an entirely new HEB on the other side of 1604?

The "HEB Future Site" sign is still there and the land is owned by HEB. Last I read there was no immediate timeline for groundbreaking, but the sign and ownership of the property would suggest that it will be built at some point.

But yeah hopefully nice sit down restaurants will follow...

On another note...it seems like a lot of apartments are starting to pop up. Don't we have enough already?

Don't we have enough cookie cutter suburban neighborhoods? Seems like there's alot more of those than apartments...

You live with your parents? A house in a good neighborhood can be a good investment. Something to think about for the future

Yea, at the moment I do. Honestly Im trying to get outta the suburbs. Grew up in them & its not really my vibe. I am artist, I want to be in the heart of the city. Which downtown is heating up for development now. Itll be the place to be in the coming decade.

What the hell did they put on the surface of the roads in Alamo Ranch to make them so slick?? Damn near wiped out this morning driving through there in the light rain.
