That's some great info valleygalbabs. I got wrapped up setting up my new router yesterday and didn't get a chance to call WM. I'll hopefully do it today. I'm fairly certain I'll be much more happy with Tiger and BofA bill-pay rules. I think I write maybe one check per year now.

Switched to Tiger yesterday. They have a special going on where you get a month free.

We switched to Tiger yesterday. When I called WM to cancel their service, I was expecting a fight. But I didn't get any at all. I was very surprised. I was just asked why and told thank you.

We switched yesterday as well. But not sure if I got the free month!
WM will charge me for the 1 pickup this quarter though.

Just a note, be sure to pay your Tiger bill! I think two of our neighbors forgot, as when I got home yesterday our trash was gone, but theirs remained. I can't think of any other reason other than them not paying their bills and expecting it to be picked up anyway.

This is not a hit on Tiger; actually, I consider it to prove they have their act together!

Cheers! M2

I just called to cancel and the recording said there would be a delay due to an abnormal amount of business. I'm thinking that's probably all the people cancelling
I also get to pay for the one day of service. I was going to fight it because I saw on their site that they claim they pick up the next day after a holiday, but they've never done that to me. If it's a holiday, they just don't pick it up and won't until the next scheduled date. I remember last year I lost at least 5 or so days of service to that.
So anyhow, I'm waiting for Tiger to call me back. I think I called during lunch and had to leave a message.

I had mine delivered too and it's freaking huge.. It took a while to get through to Tiger and the lady answering the phone seemed a bit busy. She said a LOT of people have been calling after receiving their WM bill. Go figure

We just had a guy and his son come around distributing flyers. He's advertising a new trash service. Use your own cans..unlimited amount...$18/month. I don't know if it's once or twice a week pickup, but it's a moot point if you're allowed an "unlimited" amount of trash.
Anyone gonna take him up on the offer?

I think I'm gonna stick with Tiger.
