My family and I will be moving to San Antonio in dec. I will be stationed at ft Sam and would like to know of any nice apartments in the area. I'm looking for an apartment in a nice area which also has nice amenities. My price range would be no more than 1400 a month. Before utilities. If you know of any good ones please let me know!! I would really appreciate it

Several new complexes just north of fort sam along Austin Highway, some zoned to NEISD schools other to AHISD schools. More complexes in the master planned community of oakwell farms.

All of those complexes are going to be over the OP's budget for a 3 bedroom unit, Cenizo Flats by the least. I don't think Lakeside Villas has 3-bedroom apartments at all, and I haven't seen the rates yet for Urban Crest.

For $1400 a month you may be able to find a home very close to Ft. Sam. I would recommend searching rentals in 78218. FWIW, my parents rent a 4 bedroom almost 3000 sq ft house in a good school district for $1400. The cost of living in SA is very cheap compared to other parts of the country.
