Hello everyone!
We just moved to SA, Stone Oak.
Could someone advise me parks and play areas for outdoor kids activities.
Thanks.

There is a Park on Wilderness Oak, right by Hardy Oak. Also one on Stone Oak right by Canyon Golf. Phil Hardberger park on Blanco isnt that far either.

Many of the gated neighborhoods in Stone Oak have recreation areas that are park-like. This may not be useful info to the OP, who has apparently already bought a home in a neighborhood there, but since threads on City-Data often serve as info sources for others besides the OP, I thought it would be useful info for the next person.

The park and trail at Parman Library is a favorite of ours. The playground is small but there is a nice, short walk and the library is nice.

Stone Oak park has a playground on the south entrance and a nice bike bath on the north side (although it also has a bike path on the south side too).
Panther Springs Park on Wilderness Oak has a trail and playground on the Parman library entrance, as mentioned before.
I don't know of any other places for kids in Stone Oak, but I am interested to hear what others have to say. You can find more parks and kid friendly outdoor activities inside the 1604 loop in San Antonio.
