Used Clothing by the Pound? (San Antonio, Laredo: hotel, houses, buy)

Do any of you know if there's a place in San Antonio where they sell used clothing by the pound? There's dozens of these places in the border, but I can't seem to find anyting like this around here. They usually look like warehouses, so you mostly find out about them thru word of mouth but I don't know anyone in town.

I've never heard of any places like that anywhere in Texas. We had fun visiting the store like that in Hohenwald, Tennessee a few years back.

Mrs. Bowie picked up a bell captain's jacket from the Trump Plaza Hotel that she used as part of a Halloween costume that year.

I believe the search keyword you can look for to find something like that is "salvage clothing."

I recall seeing these kind of places in Laredo which is only 3 hours away if you are willing to make the trip.

Goodwill and Salavation Army are too popular here to sell clothes by the pound it seems.

You might try the Goodwill's Clearance Center at the intersection of Commerce and General McMullen. Here's a link for more info:
