City Council voted Thursday to move forward with a plan to potentially annex 66 square miles of unincorporated Bexar County, which could make San Antonio the fifth largest city in the nation.
The city is looking at adding five areas: off Interstate 10 near Camp Bullis, off of I-10 on the city’s far East Side, off U.S. 281 near the Comal County line, near Texas 151 and Loop 1604, and near U.S. 90 and Loop 1604.

Does anyone have a link to a map of the proposed areas? I tried the link above for the Express News but since I am not a subscriber, it wouldn't let me in. Thanks

Take a trip to Boston or DC and you'll see just how meaningful San Antonio's status as the 5th largest city in the US would be.

Anyone have any information on what it gains and what it's going to cost us? I'm not looking for FUD, I'm looking for real concrete information for those of us that are going to end up getting annexed.
