With one spot already open in San Antonio and a second on the way in Windcrest, In-N-Out Burger has plans for another burger joint in New Braunfels.
The restaurant will be located at 106 FM 306, which is right off Interstate 35 in New Braunfels, according to a project filing with the state. Construction is estimated to start in February with completion as early as August, the filing states.

I tell you what. For all that say whataburger is the greatest, you wouldn't know by the crowds that are still at in and out. I tried to go yesterday on my lunch break (about 1:10 is when I got around there) and forget it. I didn't wanna hassle getting through bumper to bumper traffic on culebra just to into the Damn place. And it still looked crazy busy, both inside and drive thru. Still have cops directing traffic 2 months later.

You realize that is because they only have one location to serve a metro of 2.4 million people right?

I was by there last night and Culebra traffic was moving normally...they moved the traffic congestion to the road behind In & Out and the road that runs from Culebra to Alamo Pkwy. And they were running radar on the latter.

Funny thing, they had the same crowds at Krystal's when they first opened and now those are gone.

And a few months back I was in Vegas across the street from an In-n-Out, and it was never crowded.

They're seriously overrated.

Tell you what..I tried that Bobby J's a while back. I usually don't eat fast food (or any type of fatty meat in general) but my friend wanted a a burger and we were in the area. I think you MajorMadMax had recommended this place...I'll tell you what...that was a damn good burger. Or maybe a combination of me not having one in such a long time and it being well made...nevertheless glad we stopped there instead of some other junk serving place like McD's etc..

The location in NB is going to be even more hellish than the one that is open now. If I am thinking correctly this is right near Buckey's and where many tourists/locals get to and from work and play. I know the area was under construction for a while to widen and fix things up, but I just don't even want to imagine how horrible it is going to be to get in/out of that area after this place opens.e
