I would like to know where in San Antonio I can buy a home in the price range of $80,000 to 100,000 and still have a low crime rate. Also, I have an 8 year old son, and need a good school district.

Foster Meadows in far southeast SA sounds right for you. Great area, east central school district (great school district).

There are many good areas that you can look into in that price range. The Fieldstone link you were given is good. My sister just purchased one of their homes and my niece and nephew love the school. They selected Judson ISD. San Antonio is a great place.

Wink Thanks for the replies

Thanks for the informattion. I checked out the Fieldstone website, but does anyone know if they have a HOA fee? It didn't say. I would rather be where there isn't one(HOA)

I love this part of the city. It still has small town feel and big city appeal. I attended East Central schools and they are the best! I am glad someone finally mentioned the southeast side of town. Traffic is starting to getting a little heavy, but nothing compared to the north side. Make sure you go to EL Tipico resturant on Rigsby for the hot sauce!!

Happy house hunting

Living in North Carolina....waiting to return home....
