Just that you both know: EVERYBODY can participate in our forums, not only locals.

My point is that in some cases, it is better to rely on live testimony than the results of an Internet search that might not give a complete answer. I welcome all points of view, local and otherwise, but you have to admit that being able to go put "eyes on" and to speak from direct observation will often provide better information. The OPs question had been answered long ago as the location at Blanco and Oblate is, and remains, closed.

Quoting myself because I think I found the answer. Blanco Café on 1720 blanco does not appear to be operated by the same couple that operates the 2 locations listed on the website: (7934 Fredericksburg) or (419 N. St. Mary's). Those two locations operate as "The Original Blanco Café" while the 1720 Blanco location operates as "Blanco Café".

The one near Blanco and Oblate (which is NOT the same one off 1720 blanco) also operated as "Blanco Café".

It looks like there was a split somewhere along the history of Blanco Café...perhaps they are all still in the same family too, just different owners per each specific location.
