Hello. I recently had a life event occur with my marriage and find myself looking for an apartment to rent within a 10-15 drive tops to the Westover Hills/Wiseman Blvd financial area. I'm on a tight income and will need a 1/1 or ideally a 2/1 that is in the $500-very max $675-700 range (preferably the lower end). I'm realistic and realize this limits my options, but need a clean and safe place as I have two small children I will have staying with me during split custody. I have two little girls and no close friends so a roommate is not something I'm comfortable with. I'll be moving towards the end of August but need to have my affairs in order (ah the irony of that word and it being MY only affair), but could really use some help from the awesome citizens that know this city well. Please help me, I am desperate and have very limited time with my work schedule to research the properties while they are open. I hope you can please help me and I know and have read the other threads but am begging you to please look past my non-original post and help a good father out who finds myself in a situation where I could use help from my fellow CD forum friends. Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide.

I feel your pain....been there, done that.
Only thing I can recommend is calling up an apartment locator service. It' s free, and they will do the legwork for you.
Best of luck, and hang in there.

I am sorry too. Can you post something on Craigslist?
