I need a good, reputable, knowledgeable wach repair shop to fix my vintage Citizen wrist watch.
Actually a silly, little thing happened - not a serious repair is needed, but I don't want anyone, who does know just little more than how to replace a battery to touch my watch.
I just called "Matter of Time" ( I know them, and they do a wonderful job), but they are extremely busy, and the waiting time is 8+weeks.

Honestly, I believe you would fare better by sending in for factory service. It might take just as long, but that is how I have done my Omega twice and been satisfied with the result. I have two Citizens too. Great watches.

Upon a friend's recommendation, I've used Morrell Jewelery in Boerne for several battery battery replacements, and for a repair (the second hand had fallen off of the post and was resting on the minute hand).

In all cases, I was very happy with their work.

Try London Watch Co on West Ave in between Blanco & Lockhill Selma. My grandparents used to take their large wall clock there for repair.

I used to use them back in the day for my Longines, but the business has been sold. I've heard mixed
things about them now with the new owners. I gave up on local service after one debacle. It's a
watch I plan on passing down, so I just use the Swiss service center and cough up the cash to have
everything brought back to specifications rather than patch as I go.
