crystal dude - you come up with some of the most obscure and random questions! I think you're going to be a great addition to SA!!!

BTW - no, I'm not aware of a RenFest in SA but I have heard there are several small fairs in the Hill Country. There's a big Celtic/Gaelic Games festival up I-35 in Salado. And the SA Current also listed 800-458-3435 as the contact number for the Texas Renaissance Festival held in Plantersville (small town north of Houston) in October/November.

i saw that one, but its like a hundred miles away

the one i went to today was 20 miles from my front door.
