B/c of your username mazinga69. The "Amazing" Mets won their first World Series in 1969. Coincidence I guess.

Wow, so a reporter from the Express News leaves a business card in my office the other day (of course, I don't know why it's there, as my employees tell my nothing), so I call, turns out she's doing an article on Milton Ryan (she got my name from the fella who owns the Ryan for sale on Elizabeth)! We talked for some time and I gave her a list of good contacts that would really punch up the article. Also offered to let her borrow my magazine articles and books as they pertain to Ryan. Anyhoo, hopefuly this will shed some light on Modernism (and specifically Ryan) in San Antonio and get the MCM ball rolling (and perhaps prevent any more Ryan teardowns, which is a day late since his best works have all been replaced with Tuscan McMansions)...I just hope that MCM doesn't catch on here TOO quickly since I'm currently shopping for a swank pad myself (don't need the competition) ! And I KNOW PrettyHateMachine feels the same way
