This is really disturbing. Hopefully these kids never play again at any level. Totally uncalled for. The video I saw leaves zero doubt about whether it was intentional or not. (It was)

I'd like to know what the other 2 players were ejected for. That's a lot of kids on one team that seem to be out of control in some way. My former football player husband immediately said it has to go back to the coach after watching it. I'm not sure if it's a case of disrespect/violence coming from there or a matter of the wrong kind of students being allowed on the team.

It was top news in Austin this evening. My initial thought is "ugh, it was Jay.theyre just so ghetto." I hate that that was the first thought that came to mind, though.

Yeah, it's too easy to say, "oh those kids on the west side are so ghetto." If it was Reagan, everyone would say it was entitled spoiled rich kids daring each other. It doesn't matter. Either way, these kids should not play again in any UIL school...EVER. It was a blatant, deliberate act of battery. Oh, and while you're at it, tough guy, since you decided to commit a crime while wearing a Jay uniform at a school sponsored event, in front of thousands of people, find a new school. Decisions come with consequences, kiddo. See ya.

What?????
This is stupid!!
The kids, the parents, the coaches are all responsible for this blatant attack.

These are probably the same kids fighting in the bars up in the Stone Oak area!

How sad this is happening...

Here's hoping that those two are arrested at school tuesday morning and perp-walked out to face assault and battery charges when they are magistrated. You ain't playing in the NFL punks.

Naw, no NFL for these punks, no college, for that matter; hell, they won't make it to their senior year in H.S.. They are destined to live a life in prison!

Another perspective-

Jay, earlier, had two players. including their best one, a quarterback. disqualified. The game was in Marble Falls with an Austin officiating crew. Was the frustration a result of poor officiating?

Not to discount the cheap shots, but through a different lens?

There is no lens on the planet that will excuse this assault. I've read that the students were suspended from school and I hope to hear that charges have been filed. Different lens, my arse.
