They are not turning anything off...unless you are seriously behind with payment. Plenty of time for calling them on it. No stress is the way forward. Life is too short.

Sorry, pay all bills in full once per month, not going to be late on this or ANY bill, trumped up or not. I would rather overpay and then fight bogus charges than take a hit on not paying on time....

But you have a few weeks to pay, no (you just got the bill)? Plenty of time to call (and pay)...instead of getting all worked up calling 20-30 times...that's ludicrous IMO.

Oh I'm not worked up at all....just wonder why folks do such things. Calling a few times I get...calling 20-30 times in one day ???

I can understand. NOTHING frustrates me more than a bogus bill - especially when I can't reach those responsible to get it resolved.

It is the NORM! We live in the United States of America ! Here, you live with a foot on your neck most of the time. The water company here in SA don't care about its people who they sell their water to. You can turn your water service off and start collecting rain water in tanks. Free water. That's what I do

This year was exceptional but usually we don't get enough rain to collect it and make it last.
