Default Use the search feature.

Caligirl > Not just for you but for a lot of people >> this website has a wonderful search feature for previous threads/discussions.

All of these topics are covered in depth in different threads. Traffic, places to live, schools, crime stats, etc.

Where to live depends on where you plan on working. If you going to work at the Toyota plant, then living in Stone Oaks may not be the best idea unless you really like the inside of your car.

I would venture to say that San Antonio is a big enough town where you cannot reasonable work on the far side and live in on the other and still have lots of fun fighting traffic each day.

THANKS to both of you-using treads info its helpful. I am going to be working downtown flores & sheridan - near commanders house park. I dont want to be driving for 1 hour for work commute- I have enough of that here in Cali. What area would be could about 20 min away from my work area?. A place where a mother and child can walk the dog in the evening and be safe???

Thanks Again

She already said she's working at sheridan and flores. That's right off exit 155A on I-35. I think that's enough information/detail for a public forum.

To get a better understanding, what is your price range?

Depending on your price range, I'd highly recommend looking at Lavaca/Southtown. Very close and a great neighborhood as well as good local schools.
Older houses that are being refurbished, so prices vary widely. They are listing really high, but not getting that at the moment.

NW side isn't bad, if you live in an appt or neighborhood right off I-10, you could get to work in 10-20min easy
