Your right about the NE side I was going to say that but I forgot.
Anyways your right about the growing Hispanic/Asian population in the NW but they are still minorities there which goes with what I posted earlier.

I did notice the huge population of blacks in the NE but there is still a lot more blacks in the east then all other races including the growing number of Hispanics moving there. The same thing is happening in LA were Compton and other cities that were mostly black in the 90's are being taken over by growing Hispanic populations.

Yep.

Am the only one who does not know why this is important in the first place?

There have been problems with areas where the Katrina evacuees came to live. I was just reading a report online about what happened at the Artisan at Willow Springs. I can say that my area also went downhill fast after Katrina and we now have a lot more crime, shootings, and gang/drug activity. I am in north central. I saw a person waving what looked like a machine gun around while driving past West and Blanco today, and a few weeks ago an 18 yr old was shot and killed in that area because of gangs/drugs. There was also a shooting at the Mark at Parliament complex last year where my friend lived, where two guys were harassing someone's wife and hubby didn't take kindly to it and shot the guys.

Further up Blanco is safer, I'd say. Anywhere outside the reach of the bus system is going to be better than within it, though they just extended service from Parliament up to 1604 again. Not sure how that will affect things up that way.

Are you certain the evacuees are the persons committing these crimes or are you presuming this? Could it be the correlation between the evacuees and the rise in crime is that the evacuees are the victims?

So, by your logic, people who take public transportation are the cause of crime in SA and when service is extended further out, the crime in that area will increase. So much for taking the bus and helping the environment! Sheesh!
