HI which high schools and middle schools are zoned for alamo ranch? I can't seem to access the NISD page from the UK and we are relocating soon. Also, opinions on the best ones are appreciated.

Thank you

Here is a search that might assist you...the problem is there are multiple "neighborhoods" within Alamo Ranch area, so some go to one school, others attend another.

Since our youngest is 26 yrs old, LOTS has changed and they are building new schools here CONSTANTLY!

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...amo+ranch+area

This gives some of the schools for some of the neighborhoods within AR and some info on "capped" schools as well.

Hope this helps until someone can give you more current information based on still having school age kids.

There are literally at least 50 threads on Alamo Ranch. Do a quick search, including "schools" (or any other term), and you will find your answer.

I find NONE addressing schools unless the answer is buried in a discussion.

Well, there you go. I didn't know that about Taft. My kids aren't in school yet so who knows where they'll end up when the time comes. But at least Brennan is visible on the Taft map.

Only those students who will be Seniors will be afforded the option of staying at their respective schools. As I understand it, all other students will be forced to move to the new school. That also goes for middle school kids who will be going into the 8th grade.

If you search "Alamo ranch" "high school" you will get at least a page of results, including a Taft versus Brennan thread.
