My house isn't on there but if you object to the public posting of such things, check out your counties tax assessors office website. Usually if you google the name of your county and the words tax assessor, it will bring you to the website.
Today a friend asked me to look up their house, in Spokane the website has actual photographs of each house AND when they took the picture, they got their cars in the picture WITH their license plates. That can't be good.

It certainly gives people the ability to be a good stalker.

bcad.org doesn't have that info on it. And really, if you don't park in your garage, can't anybody just drive by and take a picture of your house/car tags/kids playing out front? I just don't see how you can prevent that. Creepy? Yes, but what can you do?

Well I would think they would blur the numbers on your license plate.

We have since moved. My new neighborhood is not yet been photographed as it is outside the loop. Any idea how long until Google takes street veiw shots outside 1604? It would be cool if they didn't take them until my new house was finished.
It looks like they've gotten most of Westcreek - they didn't get our street tho.

Those people might have a case. The Google picture-taking car drove into their driveway. Pictures taken from the street are OK. Pictures obtained while trespassing are usually a no-no.
