My family and i are planning on relocating to San Antonio. But the problem is we can't find a home and job long distance (we currently reside in FL)
Our plan is to come and stay in a hotel and find work and then look for a permanent residence.
We have been trying to find theses since January (from FL) with no luck because most companies wont do phone interviews and most home owners won't rent without you seeing the property. We cant afford the money to come to find theses then come back, pack and move. So the only choice is pack it all and just come stay in hotel till we find something and hopefully not run out of money before we do. My questions is: Are there long term (pet friendly) residential hotels in SA?? Thank ahead of time for any information.
PS reason we are wanting to move is. Lack of work here, can only find minimum wage jobs though temp service. I don't mind temp services but you can't survive the bills with the high cost of living.

What type of job are you looking for? Why SA? Just the cost of living? We may not be the best place for your type of career background which would explain the lack of job offers. I'm sure a few anonymous posters on message board will not cause you to change your mind...but I'm going to encourage you to research San Antonio a bit more before taking such s big leap...and who is we? Are you a couple? Friends? A family?

First sentence says "my family and I...." But yes I agree that SA may not be the best place. Only after more shared details can that be determined for sure.

Some single people consider their pets as family...I would say that if I was making such a huge move. But it looks like the OP may not respond. So.

Budget Suites are rough, but they are exactly what you are looking for. There are many families who live there permanently.

My family is at in town suits on Bandara road, they have 2 on bandara, we have 2 rooms here one is a 1 queen bed with daybed and we pay for that one about 340 a week Tax is included and we have an 2 queen bed room for about 380 a week. Each room here comes with a small kitchenette and full size fridge. Each in town suites has its own pricing, the cheaper once are pretty booked up the one we stay in has rooms available more frequent. Hope this helped a lil..

Theres also Extended stay America. Same type of hotel, full size frig, stove, microwave. They will take pets too. If you stay there for over 30 or 60 days you will get the best rate, (about 1/2 of the daily rate). You just pay for the first 30 days at once, and 30 days at a time. No move out notice needed.
