I went at lunch hour and the lines were too long. I'll vote tomorrow.

So, anyone can go to any of the spots where they are doing early voting? Do you have to take that card they sent you to vote?

Yes, you can go to any location for early voting. You need either your registration card or drivers license. Always faster if you have that registration card.

You can EARLY VOTE at ANY of the locations listed in pdf format on the website and all you need is your drivers license or state identification. Hope this helps!

Nice thing is you can go to ANY of the places to vote that is convenient for you for early voting...you are REQUIRED to go to the voting area designated by your home address on 4 Nov.

You don't have to take the card, but it would not hurt to. Just make sure you have some form of ID with you (pic type).

OK, I'll admit.......I thought when I renewed my drivers license with our new (2 years ago) address, that I had registered in my new precinct. However, when I checked online to make sure I was indeed registered, I wasn't! Horrors! So, luckily I got the 2 of us registered on time, but when I look online now, it says "effective 11/04/08"--so, am I ineligible for early voting?

Save your "damn she's a loser commentary"--at least I'm voting.

And I could probably google this info, but I'm hoping I'm not the only loser with this question..........

I can't find it on mysa, but today's Express-News has a list of yesterday's early voting turnout at each of the polling places. Crossroads Mall was the busiest , with lines longer than an hour, and 6 of the other locations had over 1,000 voters. Using that list and picking an unpopular polling place might save you time waiting in line.

I think it is worth going and trying to vote early...I think that what it means is that you are eligible to vote in THE election of 11/08 vs on that date in particular.
