My better half went to NW after work, said it was not too bad. Only 'incident' was someone calling cuts in line.

I've been at the Northside Activity Center the last three days for something else and the line has always been out to the curb when I've gotten there and when I've left, at various times each day. I'm going to vote at the Great Northwest Library.

Thumbs up Universal City

Went to UC today at lunch, waited over an hour. They only had 5 booths and 4 people working.

So glad it is done!

Another "out of the way" place to vote is the little area there in Leon Valley just off of Poss and Evers Rd...there were only 3 people ahead of me when I went and voted!

Another place I have voted early in the past is the libary on Military Drive, I think it is the Guerra library right next to the Funeral Home and Church...between 151 and Lackland AFB.

The Great Northwest Library looked bad from the parking lot, but took less than 15 minutes. They have somewhere around 10 machines and the five employees were very efficient. There were some pretty strange people there, though. One lady asked which line she was supposed to wait in, even though there was only one line. She didn't quite seem all together, but unfortunately there's no test to become a voter..
I also totally forgot where that library was and ended up taking the scenic route. I was about to give up just as I came up on it and almost drove right by it.

Just voted at Stone Oak Presbyterian Church. About a 10 minute wait, plenty of parking. Line was out the door Monday, but fine today.

Alzafar Shrine Temple at 1604 & Stone Oak is running people through very quickly. When I voted (10:30am on Wednesday) there were 20 people in line ahead of me, but I only waited in line for about 10 minutes. Another 3 minutes to vote and I was out of there with a sticker on my shirt.

Remember that if you're voting early in a location outside of your registered precinct, it speeds things along if you have your voter registration card. But if you can't find it, no worries... a photo id and your home address are enough to let them find you in the system.

I think it is important to remind people at this point that IF you vote EARLY, you can vote at ANY of the locations above...but if you choose to vote on 4 Nov, you MUST vote at the location that is designated for your area.

This is one reason I vote early, it seems that every year my designated voting location gets moved....
